College kid build
Hi, My name is Mike and this is my first rotary car.. i love the way the 3rd gen looked so i had to get one.. i ended up selling my cbr1000 and picked up a 1995 from edmonton
i knew the clutch was going out but thought i could make it home.. i guess not so my wonderful girlfriend had to drive my truck and pick up my sorry a$$
finally made it to my buddies house where he let me tear it all apart in his garage
i took the clutch out and it was toast lol
i fixed the clutch and now its at my house again (well my parents) but all the cars are mine :P
sold my old rims and got new ones
i also bought some add ons like twin power and apexi intake etc.. but then i decided to go bigger and go single turbo.. pics will be coming soon.. please keep in mind that I'm in college and i only work 15 hours now.. i worked in the oil for 1.5 years to help support my addictions for cars/trucks

i pushed it out of the garage and couldn't push it back up the drive way so i used my truck and winched it up aha
in its spot for a while
i will be deleting the ABS and Powersteering.. i want to clean things up a lot

started tearing the motor down
parts on the ground, nuts and bolts in the goody bags and labeled for reference
looks like there was some porting done already. the block has perfect compression, i just don't know what has been previously done plus the coolant seals were going so I'm gonna rebuild everything, paint it up all nice and keep it clean

aha theres always something that can be worked on, it never ends
the whole motor disgusts me, its been neglected and looks like garbage.. can't wait for the final product.. hopefully everything will be good to go for april

Yea I'm still waiting on ALEXs kit to come in. Im flying to texas and new orleans.. then I'm back for a couple days and fly out to miami to go on a cruise.. so if i get the chance to do the abs delete kit in between i will! Heres just a little update, I've been busy with christmas stuff so not to much going on. I found a piece of my iron gone which affected my coolant seal ( ill post pics soon) and caused for it to smoke so that sucks.. i might weld it and fix it.. but i just have to run my fuel lines and the fuel will be complete
rewelded and sand blasted
painting.. looks so good when when
dried up waiting for assembly
sitting in, still have the old fuel lines sitting there
i need to make a new cover for it as well
i will probably end up getting a motor from addicted performance and selling left over parts from this motor
