unfortuantely Ive been busier than ever renovating an entire house, building a garage and working full time.

I have my car in its final home finally. I built a 700 square foot shop with my dad. I just bought a hoist and it should be in in a couple weeks (waiting to bring power to the garage anyways. also there's a mess because i just put together an engine hoist

it looks like one is a CAN hub, one is a wideband controller, one is a thermocouple, and one is the haltech.

also, rollcoal, i support your decision. my experiences with adaptronic have not been good thus far, and i really like all the haltech stuff. the software is just so much better and intuitive.

what is the wideband controller for? Can't you just wire it direct?

it's just the control box for the Haltech brand wideband that connects/communicates to the main haltech box via CAN so you don't have to do any wiring.

you could hook up a different wideband via power/ground wiring and voltage input (like 0-5v) to the haltech, yes, but the CAN is much easier and cleaner.

yea you could, I have an AEM Wideband but ill just sell it. I pretty much wanted to do it for the simplicity. Also i don't want to run a gauge because i want it to show on my racepak... the other box is a thermocouple amplifier box. Im going to be measuring the exhaust temperature for each rotor. and the last box is a can hub. CAN is a type of communication and it just ties in everything (thermocouple box, display, ecu, wideband) together. Im still new to the Haltech software but Ive been watching many videos and messing around with the software. It looks to be user friendly so I'm excited for the switch.

Addicted Performance Unlimited has helped me with any questions/ parts. They were the ones to convince me to switch and I'm glad I did after hearing many horror stories.

Things to buy still:
Dual Setrab oil coolers
IQ3 mount
Flex fuel sensor
knock sensor
fast acting intake air temp sensor
coolant temperature sensor
connectors for the harness
