I chose a shop that used a certain paint brand that I’ve had great experiences with. Having 3 cars painted and a fourth shortly coming , BASF is how I now search for paint shops.
I dropped the bumper off Monday afternoon and received it today. It was ready by yesterday but I had them cut some of the orange peel. I also was impressed that they Generously wrapped the bumper for me.
Here are some pictures under fluorescent lighting And outside.
polished up my old combo lights from the montego blue and one single light I purchased used.
I used Wolfgang lens correction cream from AutoGeek. Worked fantastically.
Bought brand new brackets and rivets. My arrow single hand manual rivet gun wasn’t strong enough for oem rivets. So I was fed up and bought a air rivet gun and it was exhilarating to say the least. One click and done. Ugh it was super satisfying.
I was going to purchase Rotary Performances differential cradle brace but they are NLA. Is there another company making a differential cradle brace that will work with a rear diffuser?
Mazdacompetition bushings. What I failed to mention is IRP is aiming my new 8374 turbo kit and rebuild for over 500+hp. I was kinda waiting for them to start the process before so that I can involve the thread a little bit.
That LRB tray looks really nice. I modified my stock one by cutting a large square out and putting a mesh grate. But I think this, powder coated in black, would be a much more elegant solution. Perhaps when I get a 99 front I’ll adjust for this.
That bumper looks great. Did you use Ray to get the info for the brackets and rivets?

I had trouble fitting the regular LRB undertray on a '99 bumper. It made no sense because the USDM tray fits a 99 bumper. I dunno, maybe it was just me
And is the chair for sitting and admiring your bumper?

I purchased the items through Mazda competition. I had some time sheets from last year that I was able to submit and order oem parts. Racing for fun helps build the car.

Lol, is it that obvious? I had the wife and dog in the garage with me directing me where to put things. She’s much more of an organizer then I am. She actually, a few days ago, told me in a couples spat that my organizational skills is and limited to; moving one object into a different place. I just move things around.
