Damn that's nice and Ihor does such good work. This seems to have gone very smoothly?

Every build has its set backs in finding out why an issue has occurred and what needs to be done to fix it. Its coupled with waiting for the shipment of parts from across the country or in this case Japan. While other companies participate in the repairs we needed, we are willing to fix just that and more but doing so has showed me my lack of patience. I know I have been hard on Irperformance but its because of my desire to get back on the road and enjoy the vehicle with my wife and friends once again. Seeing and hearing events pass by me is giving me FOMO haha. The vehicle and the brand doesn't define my life but it sure does direct me to new relationships and keep older ones. Irperformance makes sure that my needs are met. They know what I want and they strive to make it happen. That is why they are in business and why their parking lot is always filled up for future rebuilds, swaps, and upgrades. This is a positive review. lol sponsored by ...

I'll of course take my vehicles back up the NJ if i need anything major like this done again. They took the burden off my shoulder. I dumped a huge job on them with both vehicles.

Another fix that couldn’t be transferred over. Okay, a new replacement.

Late post:

I picked up the Rocketeer from IRPerformance on September 6. Jeanne and I had flown up, one way tickets, to visit the shop and of course our friend Ihor. And man, it was wonderful to actually see the car finished in his shop. So much work had been done on the vehicle that the completion date seemed far off into the distance.

Ihor's team was able to perform the following modifications on the 95 Chaste White:

Complete Automatic to Manual swap
Install Greddy Vmount
Install previous years fully rebuilt motor and transmission
Swap the control arms with mazda competition bushings, motor mounts from the MB to the CW
Full suspension ie ohlins, battle arms, etc.
Strip the engine bay for paint
Painted the engine bay, under the hood, headlights, mirrors, along with a cut and buff to the original paint job
Install and adjust the ride height for the 18x9.5 +40 and the 18x10+40 TE37SL wrapped in Dunlop ZIII 255/35 and 265/35 with a slight roll on the front fenders only
Wire the brand new oem 93 engine harness to the 95 interior harness
Install manual clutch foot pedals
Relocate the battery to the bin
Reinstall the supra pump
Irperfromance alternator
Setrab 19 row oil coolers
Rebuild the BNR stage 3 turbos
Reseal the oil pan and install new coolant hose lines
New ss hardware for the engine bay
Adjust the tune
Install new Front Windshield

We had Driven the car through D.C. traffic and made a last minute decision to take the Auto train from Lorton, VA to Sanford FL. And Wow!!! it saved us miles, wear and tear, and the uncertainty of driving on I-95. For two cabin tickets with two meals, cash bar, and transportation of my vehicle came out to be under 500.00. With prices of gas and hotel along with food, we were not only able to save money but also arrived to our location at 8:30 a.m. next day.

I wanted to give a big thank you to Ihor and his team for the complexity and the valiant effort changing this vehicle into what it is now. I am very pleased with their dedication to make my vehicle reborn again. And after my accident last August of '17, I am now a policy holder through hagerty for the Chaste white at a agreed value. I completely feel safe driving the vehicle being fully insured to what the true market value of the Rx-7's worth.

Hagerty insurance doesn’t include autocross or “racing events”. So that’s a hard pass.

Ihor and his team always gets the job done and well. His dirty hands are the only ones that can touch her besides mine.

The cf panel came from rhd japan. I had to store the greddy filters and use the Chinese filters from Pettit racing’s intake kit that I saved. The greddy filters didn’t fit with the panel.

Thanks! I’ll check it out, though not able to use the GReddy filter might be a deal breaker for me.

A 95 base model...man I so should have waited back in the day. I moved too quickly to get the one I have right now. I love simple builds like this.

Bring your car up here and we’ll hang out with a hand full of other fd owners in a 10 mile radius. We can wrench, cruise, take some photography shots, and create music.

Some Pictures over the Weekend. It was a beautiful high 70's no humidity here in Florida. Its been a long summer. Too long in the 90s with feels like temps over 100 for 118 days. Took the car out for a cruise with some space coast fellas; Steve and Tito. Drove on A1A Cocoa Beach. Attended a Car show on saturday and won an award. Then, today, took the wife to an art show and lunch in Cape Canaveral.
