After months of no updates and me moving back to Germany . The car was standing at the workshop in South Africa and Covid19 lockdowns did not help further . Today the last parts are being dropped of at the workshop and work is starting again .Hope it is finished mechanically by August so I can ship her to Germany , register her and get her painted during winter

Finally managed to get a OEM rear bumper so I can get the exhaust finished . Rear bumpers are as rare as hens teeth

Refurbished rear calipers installed

Rear bumper test fitted , just waiting for my Diffusor next week (The old re style) . Then can finish the exhaust finally .

When fitting the front bumper we found the previous person that fitted the aftermarket bumper used a lot of putty on the fenders . So waiting for other fenders now from a donor car that should arrive on Saturday . Then intercooler and radiator can finally be fabricated
White body , grey front bumper , green rear bumper and soon blue fenders 🤣 will all be painted nice and white when she is mechanically finished and in Germany

rear bumper is on . Just waiting for the Re Style diffuser next week , so we can finish the exhaust.

Fender not aligning

Fenders habe a ton of putty and are deformed

Badly fixed

Another Update :)

So with Corona the work at the shop is on and off but finally the Radiator is in . Monday the car is going to another shop to get some custom aircon pipes made up . When it’s back then next thing will be the V-mount intercooler (custom end tanks on the core ) and exhaust tip .

thanks , the guy that does the fabrication for me is a big rotary nut . He does everything as if he would build it for his own car . Can’t wait to hear her start up for the first time

After months of going back and forth with the shop I decided to fetch her and get her ready s
for shipping to Germany . if all goes well she will be on a ship next week and here mid to end December .
it’s now a car and lots of boxes of parts . Very annoyed with the shop .

mad the shop didn’t build the intercooler and I am not in the mood to get one built here in Germany I ordered one from CX Racing (which is basically a Greddy V Mount copy ) 16.5"x11.75"x4" core size https://www.cxracing.com/IC0078?search=IC0078%09

should arrive same time as the car so I can carry on over Christmas

Finally in Germany

So the car was delivered to my house this morning .
half the engine bay is stripped for some reason and everything is In boxes . Will have to unpack the next few days and hope everything is still there .
the shop left me still with a pile of work so it will take ages until she runs again 😔

well at least she is now in Germany .
