Any reason you are powdercoating it? That's pretty pricy for a part no one can see. I'd just throw some paint on it.
Well I am a bit particular on this car and want to do it as nice as possible so it still looks good in years to come . I know you can’t see but I know there is rust even if it technically doesn’t matter . Sandblasting and powder coating is cheap here , the place quoted me 300 rand which is like 22 $ for sandblast and powder coat I white ( just choose white because they where busy with other parts in white .
Looks awesome , just fetched the carrier in my lunch break and was even cheaper paid 250 Rand which is 16.50 US for sandblasting and powder coating. Can’t wait to fit this back on the dash 😁
Before After Decided while the Harness is out I should re tape it and replace the old brittle anti rattle foam with new one Before After Took about 4 hours to remove the tape and replace it I ran out of the felt material at the end . So will have to finish it tomorrow . Still need to redo the radio harness connectors properly and sand down the earth points so they make propper contact . So happy with the result so far
Dual catalytic converters . We gonna go 1 in 2 in 1 so that the cat doesn’t restrict the flow too much and keep the German authorities and Greta happy 😃
