Sorry, I tend to keep my word.....

My pleasure, and I was thinking the same thing.

There shouldnt be any reason to not want to do business with me, explains alot about your character. Also loosing alot of your business in the Chicagoland area, cause I once spoke highly of you.

I appreciate you letting me have your balancing done as well as cutting those two rotor housings, but I'm not doing business with you again. That's all I've got to say about that and it ought to speak volumes to those reading.

told you! The end will justify the means and patience always pays off, quality takes time. Hell, I waited 6+ months for my builder to finish my engine, absolutely no regrets now!

Brian... you just need to do like me and double the time frame to customers. Then when they get it early they are thrilled!!! Seriously... My normal turn around on products is 4-5 working days (sounds beter than 1 week) well, 95% of the time it's dead on but there are those few times that an order gets lost or whatever happens on there end and I get chewed out, flamed, bla bla bla..

Sorry we could not talk longer today and I was of no help. Did you get it solved?

Charles seems like a nice guy so you 2 work it out.

I didn't come through for you? Yes I did. You finally paid me for cutting those rotor housings this past Thursday night. You can infer that it took me "two months" and not "two weeks" but again, just like in the Curtis James thread, there's more to the story. Granted, the machinist doing the balancing did take alot longer than I expected, but that stuff was done during the time that the rotor housings were already done, sitting here, while I waited for you to pay me for cutting them. You were asking me to ship you stuff back but you hadn't paid for the cutting on the rotor housings so I wasn't about to ship those. Even though I could be wrong, I think you were trying to get away without paying me the $100 on the cutting/return shipping since you'd made it clear that you didn't think you should pay for any of the porting re: the Curtis mis-matched ports deal. Regarding the rotors and rotating assembly, if you wanted those shipped before the housings, you could've said something about it. Since you didn't, I figure you wanted everything back all at once.

I think I did you pretty well given the uneven port mix-up with Curtis and I think I was patient. Not only did I cut $75 off what I normally charge to do rotor housings, I also cleaned and oiled your rotors for free as well as pressed your bearings for free. Again, as I stated in the Curtis thread, I have an incentive to do a good job for the money I'm being paid and on the flip-side I have no reason in the world to screw people around. You can point the finger and blame me for "not coming through" but it's just flat-out not true.

This is the work I did: http://bdc.cyberosity.com/v/Misc/Charlies7/

I'm thankful for your trusting me to have your assembly balanced as well as enlisting me to correct the rotor housings, but as I said earlier, I don't think I want to deal with you anymore. Good luck on your engine and let me know how everything looks when it arrives.

Your right and did a great job on the porting and I wasnt complaining about that, but you are wrong about me trying to get a free port job out of the deal. I have never tried to skate by on something without anyone finding out. Since you had NO phone for an entire month it was hard to get a concrete amount that I was going to send you. I paid for the balancing right on spot and I paid for the porting the same day I got an agreed total.

I do admit that I had some "false" assumptions in the crjrx7 thread and I would gladly take full responsibility about that. I jumped the gun without consulting you or him. However, I also regret doing business with him, nothing against you.

Now for the balancing, im glad that you took the job as how you are glad to do it for me. I was also VERY thankful that you pressed and cleaned my rotors free of charge, almost no shops would do that. But im not going to let the freebies get aside from the facts

- you failed to communicate
- you never gave me a projected time of completion
- your almost impossible to get ahold of and when I did it was always on AIM
- I also asked for specs on the assembly, ie how many grams it was off. I never got a repsonse.

Enough about me though, I understand where your coming from and had no control over the machinest when it comes to stuff, I should know cause I do alot of machining and fab work myself. But I always keep everyone updated threw PM's, emails, etc. If you could call me back and just talk to me after voicemails I left you over this 2 month period there would have never been a problem.

This isnt about your work, you do outstanding work. Its your lack of customer appreciation. Maybe you can take this as advice as im sure im not the first. As a customer we DO NOT care if things get pushed back to an extent, especially if its being done by an accoplished person such as yourself. We HATE being left in the dark, when you say something will take 2 weeks and it doesnt say something. If you would have told me from the beginning it would have taken 6 weeks I still would have sent it to you.

Again, its not about the quality of the work, this is about service. We all know you do great work. I would also like to add that I would still recommend porting services done by you and engine builds. I dont really understand why you wouldnt want to do business with me, thats your opinion and I cant change that.

Ill let you know when everything comes in

Charlie
