That looks great. Are you going to plug the holes where the first set of b-flies went or put them back in? Seems kinda silly to leave them in, but just curious.

The holes are plugged, I just don't have any good pictures of them. As of yesterday, my TB was in Dallas TX area, as of today, its on some Fedex plane or truck or something headed to me in Illinois I'll get more pics soon.

RX-Heven, the holes in the outer shaft are plugged. What I do is remove the throttle shaft (for that set of butterflies), thread JBWeld (or any other cold-weld metal filler) around a brass plug, then insert the brass plug in the brass sleeve by creating a new thread. From there, I fill in the hole in the body's casting (on the inside) with more JBWeld type filler, tape it up, and let it sit for a few to several hours. Afterwards, I sand and smoothen it down as I work on the walls of the throttle body itself.

Welp, that was the original plan, but circumstances beyond our control kept that from happening... I took some vacation time off from work, and the timing just couldn't happen... so, now its me, zyounker and E6KT2 working on it...

Having BDC around would have been awesome... but now I get to do EVERYTHING myself, which I like. I'm kind of glad it turned out like this, but had it gone the other way, my car probably would be running by now

Brian, you're still welcome to come up and chill, we have 3 more cars we're working on this summer too
