So, are you running a blow-off valve? I don't see one

When you said your running 2 degrees leading timing. Is that 2 degrees across the whole powerband or do you increase it a bit at high RPM past peak torque? And what type of split you running at such a high pressure and with such retarded leading ignition.

2 degrees to the redline.

8 degrees split.

the engine didnt need any more timing up top. it held very flat and i attribute that purely to porting.

8 split eh. Oh dear, not sure what to say . I thought I was being aggressive with my 11 split at 20 psi but then again 2 degrees leading... My trailing is firing before your leading lol. Gonna crank the boost up this year and experiment some more. Good thing the billet 6765 is a high boost turbo

Thought i would update this thread.

Car ran 11.8@ 139mph

It is not a full power pass and i reckon their is atleast another 8-12mph in it.

Their was around a 1.5 seconds between each gear shift.

The gearbox is out and im changing some clearences on the clutch and were going to have another go.

The reason for such a **** time is the 2.3 second 60 footer. Ill be fixing that next time.

I only got one pass for the night as the gearbox was not playing ball.

Car looks like its capable of a low 10 high 9 at 145-150mph from all the data i got on the day.

For sure. You can cut almost 2 seconds off that time with a perfect 60ft and good driving.

Did you have the boost turned down? You said is wasn't a full power run? Is that weight with driver or without?

Front engine mounted.

It was on around 650rwhp and it wasnt a full pass in the sense that couldnt shift gears and their was huge delays between each gear.

I think everyone else in the rotary world has catching up to do on straight pump gasoline, not 85% alcohol mixtures.
