You mention that pre-turbo really increases the effectiveness of the turbo, in other words you can get higher boost out of it.

I'm interested in how much more boost. I have a T04R(T67)? Also I'm running 50/50 meth/water, should I just run water? I'm also running four 2200cc injectors and E85(85%ethanol,15%gasoline). I'd like at least 30psi.

Thanx,

Ken

Quick question with regarding your engine, did you kept the stock exhaust sleeve of the cosmo engine or did you swap them with turbo 2 ones?

And also hows the iron fist of justice that is your car going?

Ken, with E85 you don't need meth at all for knock control... The E85 on it's own would allow you to run 30psi with NO meth or even water* It's an awesome fuel brotha..

However, yes... running straight water or water/meth pre-turbo would increase the efficiency of your turbo/system.... go for it* And turn up the boost!

I reckon you need bigger tires then! XD

So you cut the exhaust port square like RR, but leave the stock sleeve in correct?

I'd like to know how much water you are injecting. What % of water to fuel?

I'm running 5% water to fuel Pre-turbo and 10% after IC. Turbo temps still seem high.

Thanx,

Ken

it wont effect turbo temps. look at mine their huge.

Over 1000 degrees celcius in most cases.

703 was on 34-35psi.

You are saying your temps after the turbo and before the IC are over 1000 C?

Jeez that's hot, how much water are you injecting?? Over 15% water to fuel.

What temp sensor are you using, I'm using a Haltech sensor.

I only have 5% water to fuel before the turbo. I can change that.

I'm using three 1mm jets, 1 pre-turbo and 2 after IC.

Thanx,

Ken

LOL! I'm SURE he was referring to his EGT's (turbine/hot side)

And he's injecting 100% water... there is no water/fuel or meth mix. Strictly water injection and 93oct. pump fuel...

~ Kayvon

For your set-up 'running E85' and boosting 22psi, look to spraying a 50/50 water/meth mix pre-turbo to significantly lower your AIT's and make a nice increase in power at 22psi.

The more water, the better it seems, only as long as your ignition can ignite it cleanly. It's obvious that it's not hurting his power.

I would definitely be curious to see what kind of power this motor would make on race fuel / no water, compared to pump and water. Any thoughts RX72c?

I would still use the water even with the race fuel, just not as much of it. Absorbs heat from the combustion chamber and increases dynamic compression.
