You dont really need the bov the stocker is just fine, and if you want to hear it just vent it. Get an aluminum AST and aftermarket radiator like a koyo or fluidyne.

First get car in good mechanical condition. Confirm that hoses are pliable Get an aluminum AST and aftermarket radiator like a koyo or fluidyne. then treat yourself to an aftermarket cat back exhaust, improves the sound and sprite of driver. that about used up the 1.5k.
Last the road to performance upgrades is precarious and not cheap ... an ECU must be early on your upgrade radar, may not add the HP but 1) its like insurance 2) at least the PFC ECU improved my drivability soo much that I now find myself driving my track car on road trips. Hell I just added an XM radio to it I love it so much (she has been my "gf" for 10 years, but just learnt she has new techniques)

Yeah I agree...first get the car running WELL! If the car's not running at it's top potential, any mods you put on the car will not deliver what it's capable of delivering. You can spend your $1500 on stuff like intake, exhaust, suspension, maybe even a Power FC, but if your car is running at less than optimal now (as in it's not consistent and not reliable), use the $1500 to fix all the quirks first...seriously it might just be the best $1500 you're going to spend on your FD.

if u only got 1500 to spend on a fd... then i dont think its much. good enough for the reliable mods, thats about it.
remember to save some money for them rainy days with the FD. u nvr know when it hits.

I've just learned that the car has 141k, the engine was replaced with a crate engine at 93k.. has some body damage that needs to be repaired. So the engine has about 50k which isnt too bad i dont think... Probably picking the car up tonight or tomm. will post pics after i wash n wax it Stay tuned

I think this thread is somewhat usefull too. Just as much as the FAQ thread.

Also, this thread has great info on the reliability mods and also how to's.
