No way the stock exhaust sounds as bad as the N1 Dual. I have the stock cat back with DP and MP and it sounds good.

 

I HAVE THE BLITZ NUR-SPEC R WHICH OUT OF SOME TURN OF BAD LUCK IS THE SAME ONE OFF THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS

 

I don't have the mp installed yet but my car sounds NOTHING like that, doesn't even have the same tone.

 

I finally bought and installed the M2 dual tip and love it. Near stock looks like the Racing Beat but with a straighter pipe and (arguably) prettier tips. It has a bassy tone on my car with downpipe and stock cat that really changes when the second turbo comes on; then it sounds all business. On the highway it is only slightly louder than stock. So slight most don't even notice. Nobody on the sidewalk (or in a cop car) will turn their head unless you really open it up.

Stealth is the way to go

 

does anyone like the apexi gt spec.. i have just picked up my ss dp and mp.. and haven't bought a exhaust. yet.. i am having a motor built.. and it's pretty much ported everywhere you can port..lol including the exhaust.. i'm looking for a good deap sound not a sound like a crotch rocket motor cycle.. got that.. already... wanna hear a good deep sound. and NOT LIKE A HONDA or a INTEGRA. (same crap right) so i'm gonna ask for a vote on the gt spec n e 1 like it

 

Sounds nice on my friends Auto. Unfortunately I haven't heard it on a manual though. I was going to stay away from the big 5" inch tip for two reasons:
1. CA law says only 3" or 4"is legal (friend got a ticket)
2. Honda wannabee racers like to run big tips connected to their wimpy 1&3/4" piping.

So, I was going to get the N1 duals (yes I know it's loud) but now i'm getting the JIC-Magic titanium.

Um... There were actually no sound effects added to any of the cars in the fast and the furious! the only conclusion i came to was possible a 3rotor since it seemed to idle smoother

Actually they are sound effects ... i have a copy of F+F before they finished editting it and before they added music, ... only a few of the cars got to keep their actual sound. The rx7 sounds more like a big v8.

 

there was no 20b in that red fd in the movie. there have been a few articles on that car and it had a 13b-rew and i think it even had the stock twins... the fact that it idled smoother doesn't indicate that it has a 20b. (actually are u sure it was even idling? maybe the car wasn't even on and they just used sound effects ) btw, they had several dummy "doubles" of the cars in the movie so the real cars wouldn't get trashed and i doubt every single one of them had a 20b which would have had to have been the case if they wanted to make it sound the same like the same car in every scene without using sound effects.

 

the only hint of 20B-ness was in the animation right before the first big race. none of the FDs had 20Bs, and almost none of the cars sounded like they would in real life other than the Supra and Charger. (the Veiside FD and Chris' white FD at race wars sounded NOTHING like RX-7s. and the S2000 sounded nothing like an S2000. also, the green eclipse was not turbocharged, so they added the BOV sound in there.)

 

it seems most people think the N1 Dual is the worst. that is the system I was going to buy, since I liked the idea of dual 3", rather than a single large pipe. I must reconsider now.

 

.. or just listen to it yourself. I love the sound of my N1 Dual despite what others have said on this board. That it was voted the "worst sounding" makes me appreciate it even more.

 

I have heard the N1 dual and it sounded really good to me, It was nice and deep down low. Unfortunately I didn't hear the guy get on it so I don't know how it sounds at higher RPM.

 

2 things saying it sounds good is enough for me . I'll stick with my plan then. unless I hear it myself and think it sucks. I like that DR W said it has a deep sound. I have heard the N1 single, and I thought it sounded good. and I have heard a good sounding honda, my brother has a Prelude 95 ( I rarely see these cars around) and it sounds awesome. when I drove it under an overpass it was one of the nicest notes I had heard. VERY deep and ripping at high RPMS even. but the integras and civics I hear do not sound pleasing at all. too bad the prelude has been canned.

 

The old Preludes are nice but the new ones are all looks. They have no ***** and their front wheel drive. That car has so much potentaial but honda can't make a good factory car. They are only good after dumping like $10,000 in them....

I like the Hks exausts they have a nice deep sound to them. Apexi is pritty good to i dont know why they are bashing them on the pole...

 

it's a 95, and has plenty of power.

 

I can't believe some people are still fooled by the red rx7 in the FnF. Hey guys WAKE UP it was a Hollywood movie!!!!!!!!!!!!

The red one has a ported motor and stock turbos! How do i know this cuz i know the guy and my car was in the damn movie too. Christ i bet some people still think they can purchase a Mr. Fusion and a Flux Capasitor.

I have some dilithium crystals for you to buy too, they add 300 rwhp.
