wont let me boost

well it wont boost or anything!! in order for me to drive ijust have to tap the throttle slowly!!it bogs out real BAD if i try to throttle at all!! my check engine lights on!! i just got my car back from shop too!! he tells me that its sumthing wrong wit my harness but at the same time he tells me it was also my stock ecu causing sum problems, but personally i think he did something cuz he is trying to sell me aftermarket standlone! hes been trying to do that ever since i went their the first time!! i shud of not takin my car their!! no what do i do guys? help me out plz!!

oh ya and he told me it was somethign to do with primary injectors, the stock harness is shorting out sumwhere or sumthin like that! bu ti neva had that problem b4!! hes was also like new stock harness is like 800-900 dollers, and plus labour and installing it woud be around 1500 dollers!! he said it be better if i get microtech off him cuz it would only cost 500 dollers more!!

Not sure why no one has commented yet... check the most obvious thing first.... Boost Sensor (btw the intake elbow and the fire wall). Make sure it's plugged in and that the vaccum hose is connected. Pull the check engine code to see what that is indicating.

ya about the boost sensor, he plugged another one in and the old one is still sitting on same location. but it is plugged in!! how do i pull the check engine code?

Yep, stock harnesses are not cheap.

And before your ! key breaks on your keyboard, you should get it fixed. If the harness is bad then that pretty much needs replaced.

You can find the ECU code procedure in the Factory Service Manual (check the FSM sticky thread) and somewhere in the FAQ (also a sticky thread). Keep using the stickies.

Anything else? You were given the tools to diagnose the problem. It is apparent you didn't even try them. If you aren't going to try the solutions that people give you, don't waste our time by creating a thread!

It's obvious your car is in "limp home" mode for some reason. Checking the Code should tell you why. Then you can narrow it down to a small subsystem to troubleshoot.

srry guys i cud not find ecu code in FSM i think i am goin blind or either i am just stupid which FSM wud it be in Mazda RX7 Wiring Diagram, Mazda RX7 Workshop Manual ,Mazda RX7 Body Electrical Manual, Mazda RX7 Service Highlights Manual? sorry ryanberg its not that i am trying i havnt had any luck! sorry dude

no mate do a search on here,,,if you have engine light on dashboard your ECU is detecting an electrical fault,,, hang on here u go,,, read this..

thank you soo much tiger!! that helped alot out!! so i have sooo many error codes!! and other thing i want to point out is that alot of the sensor r dissconnected right underneath the mainfold i will try and post pic for you guys!! maybe thats cuzing them to go off in the first place!! because he did connect alot of the ****!! he told me its goin be more simpler and stuff! and he did remove all the silicone **** and the vaccum chamber!!

sounds like he has done a twin turbo simplification mod,,,,, yes the unplugged sensors will trigger the dash warning light,,,,try compile a list of the codes and post em,,,lets have a look,,, have u tried resetting the ECU,,, ( i think u disconnect the battery for 30 seconds press the brake pedal and reconnect,,,,this may put your car back in normal mode)

yes i have disconnected the battery and press the brake pedal!! the warning light still appears

ya it sames as if he did!! cuz i bought the efini turbos off him he said everything out the door and installed 1500 dollers!! i will try to compile the list of the codes!! as for now theirs way too many i only know few
