Yup... Ivan from Sunnyvale. Very familiar with him. Back in 2000 I was CYM shopping and he wanted $30K for a CYM that was stored in his livingroom with less than 10K miles. Xearo... this may be your car since I know he sold it to someone in North Central California. Are you the third owner? Just curious that it might be the same car. I think his current Black one replaced the CYM, but I can't say for a fact. Used to have pics of the CYM in his living room. Have to see if I can't dig those up

There was a 93? FD in the Dallas classified ads a couple of weeks ago with less than 20K on it, original owner. I may still have the paper...

I like this Ivan. I would like to hear more about him and his living room. I've always wanted to do that as well. In every car game I buy, I make sure to buy an FD of each color availible.

Ha. Just read through this thread. Mine has 34.5K on it now. Its the same FD RICKRX7 had at the beginning of this thread with 22K in 05. I put 2800 miles on it driving from Kenniwich WA all the way back to Chicago IL, and I would do it again. Car has been more reliable than my wife's GMC truck! go figure.

I drive mine in the summer when the weather is nice, but it has been more about trips to the track and back than just joy riding. Thinking about buying another FD to track and save this beauty.

True story! I paid $22,500 Cash! The only problem I had were two recalls and the water pump gasket was leaking. I guess from sitting for 8+ years in a heated garage. Oh, and shes still a virgin!

I know this orthopiedic Doctor that has an all original 1993 VRTouring with 5,900 miles
Original bra, original car cover, Thick sheepskin seatcovers to protect the seats from the elements and always garaged.

He drives it in to town every Sunday to buy the Paper and back. Three miles every Sunday.
Oh, and Remember he wont like to brake his bones so he doesn't drive too wild! First hand experience I guess being he's an orthopiedic surgen and all

Wow!!! This came back from the dead...

My original post is on the first page of this thread...^^^

Now 11/24/09 my FD has 30,600 original miles and is now FOR SALE!

Check out my listing....
