Bought mine January 28, 2004, completely stock with 19,310 miles on it from a retired couple. Im the second owner. Price was $15,750. I flew down to Reno and drove it back to Seattle over a couple of days.
Ive done all the realiability mods and more. Its a great car and I drive it daily and wash it every other. I try to avoid driving it on rainy days, but this has been a great winter for good cold dry weather.
It looks brand new and I try to keep it that way.

I think my FD is having a mid life crisis! She just turned 40.... (bought with 30,082 in 10/03 for 14k)

I think I'm going to get her Toe Links, Trailing Arms, RB Dual, New Rubber and a face lift (new paint) this season. That should cheer her up.

Whats funny about all of this, is that every last person on this thread was smiling when they wrote their post about how many miles were on their car when they bought it, and how many miles are on it now.... must be the memories of all those countless hours (or minutes in some cases) behind the wheel.

Minus the stadium seating he has on the back of his car (check out his "spoiler" lol) he's my hero. I just wish it didn't take him like 5 engines to get it that far. But he's paving the road for me...cuz I'mma drive my FD until I die

I think I win the title of "most highly modified low mileage non-running FD".

No I know we have never met...it's just that perhaps you bought your car from some older guy in Folsom who was selling it for his wife?

BTW, your silver car w/ the V-Mount, BBS', etc. is VERY nice.

I can't help it, the car is too damn fun to drive, it's my daily driver and I don't mind putting miles on it. After all, cars are meant to be driven right?

Nope, it has 220. Go into the car (if he lets you) and look at the odometer. It says 220

Yeah, Ivan is the biggest RX7 freak ever. At one point in time, he owned 6 RX7's one of each color, all with extremely low mileage. Now he only has a silver one and the black one in his living room with 220miles. Oh yeah, he works on cars too in sunnyvale area.

Bought my black 95 PEP in May of last year with 11,325 miles - it now has 11,800 miles. 100% stock, still has the original tires (no dry rot). I've love to drive it more, just don't have the time.

My car currently has about 16,???km.... well thats what my speedo says.. I guess with new engine, body parts, interior, paint, lights, suspension, blah, blah, blah, I guess why not change the speedo??? is it illegal?? Don't anyone buy a car from me.. most likely I'm not going to sell it.. Like FDnewbie said, "cuz I'mma drive my FD until I die" Oh, I also have a speedo that says 5k miles or so..

Yes. The odometer is intended to show mileage for the chassis, not when the last fresh engine was installed.

Longer than there has been a forum. I haven't driven it since May of '98.

Check my thread. My headlight kit is nearing completion, and I finished my Cobra IRS setup, among other things.

I don't own an RX7 (my fat *** + chair won't fit inside), but staying along the lines of a low mileage cars, my 2000 Caravan only has like 24,100 miles on it....extremely low for a minivan!
