That would go to your oil injector (if I remember correctly) and It is possibly the bottom-most vacuum hose in there, it is under everything right above the intake ports and next to the primary injectors. It is located on the engine block...hope that helps any

It's on the engine block. Sorta near the FPD. Gotta take off the UIM and maybe the ACV.

Here's a pic...

If you really need access (like to replace the tubing or the injectors, you really need to pull the LIM, as the rats nest, ACV, secondary fuel injectors all get in the way

edit: I'm kinda slow today, like the forum! Pic to come!

aw man, is there any other way? I just put the rats nest back in, and ran most of my hoses.

They are designed to inject more oil as the engine breathes more air. I wouldn't start my car without it connected.

fdeeznutz,
If I were you, I would pre-mix and stay off the boost. You could be causing undue wear on your rotor housings and apex seals without proper lubrication.

Ugh... very stupid. You won't be getting right amount of oil injected into your rotor housings.

At minimum you'll have to take off the UIM. Depending how many solenoids you still have on there, you might have to take off more. You might see if you can get in there with a long pair of needle nose pliers and slip the hose on there.

UIM is already off. the problem is I can't even see it. Am I jsut not looking hard enough or is something covering it? I've been poking arond there for a good 15 minutes.

It's pretty buried. If you can't even see it, you're going to have to start removing stuff.

It's underneath the FPD. You'll probably need to remove the ACV, and maybe unplug the wiring harness from the solenoids an pull it out of the way.

Hey bud,

Yes it is very hard to get to that nipple. It is right on the engine not underneath the fpd but behind it. I am non sequential and I still was pissed that it was so hard to get to. the last thing you'll have to take off is all of the colored electrical connections so you can get down in there. There's also another nipple that needs to be hooked up to vacuum infront of that. Make sure that one is hooked up too. I tried to use a needle nose pliers but it wouldn't work so I greased up the vacuum tube and used my fingers and then got a tie wrap on it good.
You don't want to have to do this again so do it right. I think since you have everything off it's time to do the hose job before you put it all back. I bet you many hoses are split even if they are new. But don't worry about the omp not being hooked up if it hasn't been long. Just start premixing. Do 100:1 without the omp I would add about 8oz of premix for 12 gallons.

good luck man YES it is a pain in the fukin *** but you're car will run better and you'll feel better

This is sarting to rasie some questons on if i hooked soem hoses up right.

ok the pic that jonski posted at the end of this thread
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=166980
the round thing in the middle, is that the FPD? Is it under there? Becasue I have a vac hose hooked up right under that which I routed to the FPR control solenoid (solenoid A in all the diagrams) did I maybe get the hose on the nipple I'm looking for by accident?

I'll try to get some pics up tomrrow.

yes that's the fpd. the nipple is behind it and kinda slanted. It's on the side of the fpd closest to the secondary fuel rail.

in that pic the circle that says to fpr solenoid goes around to the solenoid. I'm non sequential so I just went right to the fpr but you get the point.

I think you have it hooked up wrong.

good luck

ok, got a pic of how I hooked it up below. I'm ahving a feeling this is wrong now. Theres a nipple underneath the FPD, I thought that goes to the FPR solenoid, because thats all I coudl akme out form the diagram.

The nipple underneath the FPD that I ran to the FPR solenoid, is that actually the hose for the OMP? And is the hose for the FPR solenoid somewhere else?

Thanks for any help people

ok so now just to make sure I have this all straight and I don't screw up my car. The line in that I ahve hooked up in the pic is actully the OMP line, then where is the nipple coming out of the FPR solenoid suppsoe to go?

The line you have coming from under the connector on the FPR solenoid is routed correctly, to the LIM. The line you have incorrectly installed does go to the OMP, as you say. That nipple on the solenoid on the opposite side from the connector (i.e. what you are asking about) goes to the fuel pressure regulator itself. Hopefully this pic goes through...
