because my cousin just got an auto fd and the whole cluster doesn't work so we were trying to figure out if the man. cluster would work for an auto fd. so if you said they are interchangeble than it would be easier to buy an used cluster. so thx for your help

The PFC should work in an auto. You just loose the "hold" feature on the transmission. Who uses that anyway? What am I towing in my FD ..... other than ***.

How did you determine the gauge cluster was bad, and how do you know a manual one would fix it. The auto clusters would be cheaper (generally speaking) and possibly even easier to find.

he wanted to do the transmission swap so no biggy he will need one anyways, yes the auto cluster doesn't work, the gauge is connected but only the light comes on and gas and the water temp works other than that nothing else work, even the milage meter is not working
