Vacuam Hose Problems
well i started a thread few days ago on replacing the fuel filter and succesfully replaced it around yesterday i think. First i was suffering from hesitation at 5k rpm but yesterday all of the sudden the car was having troubles even to idle and running on low revs and if i reved the car it would back fire and was giving lots of black smoke so i opened the hood and could hear a air leaking sound and in sometime i found the culprit its a one way vacuam vavle broken i have taken it out and send to the dealer for a reaplcemt as i didnt know the part number can anyone give me details on the pipes here.
in one picture i have labeled the pipe sucking if i put a finger in front of it the car stabalized and smoke stops. I had a similar problem some time ago when my pipe connected to the map sensor got disconnected some how can some explain a little on vacuam pipes in the rx7 and are there any more pipes i should check ?? that makes the engine hesitate while reving while driving.
THanks in advance

Look a this web site
http://www.maxcooper.com/rx7/how-to/...als/index.html
You will see a Mazda part number.
Most of us are using viton check valves.... pretty much any check valve will do the job.

if i'm looking at it correctly, the one you said is sucking goes into the intake manifold (obviously) in one direction, and back to both the vacuum chamber and the turbo charge control solenoid (the metal line it goes to splits).

Doesn't really matter what it's for - a vacuum leak after the throttle body will give all sorts of driving/running problems, and it needs to be fixed.
If you want a set of the Viton valves, I've got plenty in stock, and I ship overseas. You can get a full set shipped for less than 1 new Mazda check valve. Here's more info -
