Greddy Elbow w/ BOV Flange?

Hey everyone, I'm very interested in purchasing the Greddy Elbow w/ BOV Flange, but I've seen pictures of other peoples cars with the BOV(Greddy Type-S) rubbing the sidewall where the shocks are located. Does anybody have any success w/ this BOV and this particular elbow without rubbing of the sidewall? And if so, how do you like the setup? Thanks for your time! ~Anthony

Get an elbow without a flange and have one welded on in a position that the valve clears every thing .Easy as that . My elbow ,very early one , had two injector bungs on it from the factory .I cut one off and welded the HKS SEQ blowoff valve on in that place and I made a nylon plug for the other plug . The air temp sensor is threaded in the nylon so it will not heat soak . Pics can be seen on BDC Motorsports Tennessee tuning, Garfinkles car .

I got an elbow from the RX7 store with the flange but I'm using the GREDDY RS BOV and there is no rubbing at all.

I have one with the Greddy RS and the only problem I have seen is that the screw hit's the strut tower. I'll probably grind the screw down. I got mine from Pettit

Thanks everyone for your replies, this has helped me decide not to invest in the Greddy elbow w/ the BOV flange pre-welded

Why run a BOV anyway ? That question should start a wild response from those who know what is going on .

The big questions are whether or not to run the BOV open loop or closed loop and where to vent
