Updated clutch fork Info- HELP

Does anyone know if there is a part number on the updated clutch fork? i have a clutch fork but i want to see if its the newer updated one or not does anyone have any info or pics as this would make a great reference thread also?

Those are just casting heat numbers on the part. They will be different.

Not that I have seen. The new version looks the same as the old. I have heard that they are a different cast alloy, but I do not know if that is even the case. I have no way of verifing.

I have new one in my car just in case there is a difference. There was nothing wrong with the old one that came out.

I can't believe they're still making these forks with that God-forsaken roll pin hole....this is where the cracks start and emanate from.

I reinforced mine by plating it and eliminating the tension side roll pin hole as depicted.

+1 on both points. Other than the different casting numbers, I couldn't see a difference. I once posed this question to Ray at Malloy who really couldn't shead light on it either. I replaced mine only for peace of mind, chalking it up to a fatique/wear item that should be replaced like a throw-out bearing.
