The Apexi does have good spool time, however, you aren't going to put down massive HP numbers with it if that's your goal.

More people should make twin kits, as in two individual turbos, better spool, the same high end flow and better heat transfer. With the huge number of clowns on this forum giving out bad advice to people as if they really know what they're talking about I'm surprised more of them aren't making up stories about having big twins since it's obviously the money-is-no-object best turbo setup. I wasn't talking about anyone in this thread btw. : ). I really feel bad for a lot of the people making actual purchases based on things the kids post here. I've been thinking about making a post about some of the trash people are passing off as common wisdom and general bull(you know what) people post here on a really wide range of topics. The forum is a really great tool for communication but in the general migration from the old days of the big list to this we seem to have lost the quality of information. When some yahoo posted false information on the big list people would correct it and not let it slip. That seems pretty rare here, I suppose the volume of crap being posted is just far too much to keep up with. People used to call it signal to noise ratio and it's completely off the charts here. Maybe we should even make a sticky disclaimer about it. There are people with post counts well into the thousands I see telling people what they should do with absolutely no clue what they're talking about, some I even doubt if they actually have or have ever had a 3rd gen. The closest they've come to turning a wrench or dialing a car in is turning the page in a magazine. The really bad part of that is it means they've likely given such nasty advice thousands of other times.
Anyway sorry to hijack the thread. Vent off. I'll do this in a stand alone post later and maybe even cover the nasty topic of vendors being hard to reach on the phone etc. and why that tends to happen with older more experienced racers, vendors. (not including myself in that btw)
Err rant off again.
