For the turbo rebuilders...

I'm in the middle of rebuilding a set of twins and I got these cracks around the wastegate. Is it something that can be welded up, or should I find another good housing.

Actually from what I have sceen that is normal. I wouldn't worry about it. Some stock manifolds will crack under the extreme heat of the exaust ports.

I wouldn't worry about that too much either, me and TwinTurbo93 is rebuilding our twins as well. Besides the housings are really tough to weld right since its a different type of iron.

When those puppies get to operating temp...those cracks will close.

Then how about these. Should this be welded or not to worry......LOL, just kidding I have a replacement for this, but it's a nice one.

I do have a replacement for that so it's not a big deal. But it is a doozy.
