Did you give him some money? A down or something?

I just wish the NSX had a transaxle that would hold some real HP. Than do some kind of swap just to **** them (NSX Lovers) off. Put a real motor like a turbo rotary (2-3 rotor), LSx or some American muscle in that want to be exotic .

I know, I know it's got to be a rotary.....................but check out the 7 liter 3rd Gen.

No, Money wasn't exchanged.. I'm not that stupid. He did however wanted EVERYTHING in cash. Which my bank only had 11k in hand and I couldn't get the rest so I had to get a cashier's check. Over all it was just pain in the *** and waste of my time going down there to see some junk.

I've heard someone is putting an V8 in the NSX. But either way, I now have a bad taste in my mouth and will NOT be part of this wannabe car enthusiats.

The ******* seller just emailed me..

This is what he said, "Good luck to you, Phil – you’ll be driving a cheap compact the rest of your life."

Phil, if I let the people who own the same type of car that I wanted/have deture me; my FD would have been sold years ago.

Ain't that the truth.

This same sort of thing happened to me when I was looking for my RX7 in '96 or so (back when they still had some cache).... I met up with a guy who was obviously some sort of U.S. diplomat or muckity-muck from McLean, VA.... he'd described the car as being kept among his "stable" of cars, and cared for by some Japanese guy he paid to maintain his cars while he travelled the world doing important things. Sounded great.

The thing was an utter roach. Obviously not parked indoors, the white paint looked like chalk, weather stripping coming off the windows, leaves in the engine bay. He wouldn't let me drive it (he gave me a demo run), and it ran and sounded like ***.

Phil,

Just think what its like for new people to come into this forum and get started. We at least have the Good Guy/Bad Guy section to help with the issue, but if you don't know the history of people it can be hard. That's part of the reason I rarely buy anything used anymore from this forum or any others. The few people that I have bought from on this forum are people who have been here for a long time and I know aren't vagrants.

ptrhahn, damn that sounds horrible. I've almost gotten to the point that when I'm buying something used, I just expect it to be torn up. Lately I've decided to just buy new unless its something that isn't available any more (I recently purchased a use M2 CIA).

I know.. but luckily no one really screwed me over on this forum.. If they do, I'll definitely raise hell!!

Another thing about these people (NSX) is that I met them all in PERSON! I've never had issues with 7 owners whom I met in person.... NEVER! I'm telling you it takes big ego to lie to you in your face!

You might get a few asses here and we get rid of a lot of them. But go over to the NSXPrime forum and just lurk or if you are brave post and watch the sarcastic *** answers. The guy I got my car from told me he would never post on that forum as "they just want to make you look like an ***".

One thing I will never understand is the largest seller of NSX parts is Dali Racing and on the forum he goes by NSXGod. Read his posts he is one of the biggest ******** on Prime.

Quote: NSXPrime
NRG: Anyway...I met a ***** who drives an RX-7 last month...I guess all RX-7 owners are ***** eh? LOL. Since you have two, it should make you a bigger ***** right?

I love it. Now tell them they are just all driving a Honda Accord in REVERSE

Oh Jeff, don't make it worse. The guy was just pointing out that just because he met one or two bad apples, not all owners are bad.

This certainly has turned into an entertaining thread. I don't see what the big deal is with the NSX's. They're nice looking cars, but a friggin' neon SRT4 will give one a run for it's money.....

LOL! He did seem kind of a DICK with that comment..

If I said Honda Accord in Reverse, I bet first thing those mother ******* will bring up will be that I have no money to buy NSX and that I'm bitter.. well, truth is, I don't want to spend 40K on something that perform worse than my 7.

At this point, I'm over it! They could go think they own some great machines... but in reality, they aren't much better than my daily Legend coupe

Well, you left out the guy's last line of the quote which without it makes him seem like a butthead; but with the last line it shows he's just making a point.

Here is another bad transaction with NSX owner..

I bought a set of SSR rims for the future NSX and he lied to me about being balanced.. ****** avoided my PMs all day yesterday and now he refuse to take them back nor fix the issue. Dumb **** doesn't know **** about suspensions nor wheels??

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?p=710709

Maybe I'm wrong about the wheels and tires.. But I don't think so?? LOL!

funny stuff... to all the NSX guys out there: your car is slow, fugly, and EXTREMEly dated looking, if you think you have a superior 'supercar' its only because you have bad taste and dont know any better.... I dont know why anyone would wanna go from a fd to an nsx, except for maybe just needing change...

Funny how so many NSX owners are elitest ****** too (I've met a few, always some white collar type old guy, too cheap to shell out for a REAL exotic, usually just dillusional about having a reason to be a *****...), hey guys, it might help if you had something to be elitist about lol.... I mean really, show me one performance # from your nsx that puts it in the 'supercar' class...and styling? Sorry 300z came before you and much more stylish -yeah I thought so.... may I suggest to all you NSX'rs out there: go play with your first gen MR2, and Fiero buddies, thats more your speed and styling... just cuz its mid-engine doesnt make it an exotic....

God, you really wanted an NSX? hehehehe

Herb,

"So, I should apologize........."

You know you should. You NEED too, I told you that you will always be wrong on Prime. It's just a fact. You are using the ****** air, taking up space on the Prime server and they just love to gang bang a new owner that will always be WRONG

Just apologize, ask that your user name be removed, and all your posts be deleted as you don't want to funk up the air on Prime. As they all know they and only the chosen few may drive the perfect Honda creation "THE ALMIGHTY NSX".

Anyway, as soon as I sell me car and parts that's my plan.

Later, Jeff

Jeff, YOU are absolutely RIGHT!! What a crock of ***** over there. Most of them don't know **** about wheels and tires and just making **** up. I realized toward the end that I'm just wasting my time trying to explain to morons who dont know ***** from sneakers bars and listening to their dumbass uneducated mechanics... 10.5 inch wide rims only need weights on one side??? When these wheels have like 10 thousand weights on one side because someone is using some shitty *** balancer to balance them??... ****!!

Anyhow, I do appolgize to you for not listening to you. One of these day when I'm in CA (good friend of mine is in SF), I would need to buy you a drink!!

Listen to those Prime ***** and lie about your car and blame the buyers for buy your car and parts

Just to put in a word about the only NSX owner I've interacted with - I had left my 99 bumper with my painter and when I came to pick it up he told me an NSX guy had stopped by and was asking all about my RX7 and telling the painter how the RX7s were in a league of their own. At least one NSX owner knows his place.

If this is the kind of seller they want I could do it but it goes against all my sales experience at work and at home. I am the one that points out ANY problems I have with the product that the buyer wants first. Than let them decide if they have to have it. Than OK they know the drawbacks and I feel better about the sale.

I feel the same as you. I did not want to get into a what car is better debate but you have to find it funny that post #54: by DRIFTER
"STOCK TO STOCK not a MODDED SINGLE TURBO SETUP!
PUT A SINGLE TURBO ON AN NSX AND COMPARE?
do a search----FX twin turbo-------o ok-------did u find it ------yah thats right-
they also make a single turbo setup *NOTE* all can be driven daily on pump gas.
"

Than I make a few and just a few STOCK examples with: "Yep, just go "STOCK TO STOCK" as you say. Look up Car and driver the '93 Rx-7 was sports car of the year. Higher skid pad STOCK too, Oh more power, Faster, ect, ect........

Than ad a few FAST parts like my Penske 3-ways (from Guy Ankney) and a good set of 18"x10" wheels all the way around under a stock body (that's right a STOCK BODY) and tear a new *** on the AutoX course.

Now look up the rating on a STOCK RX-7 3rd Gen and an STOCK NSX (for you guys that say you like the twisties). They don't evan let them compete in the same class for AUTOx need more........
"

I didn't point out weight being lighter in steel than the NSX Aluminum

He completely ignored my post and posted some **** about "over inflated causing the center..............."

Anyway I have posted pics of my FD and got a ton of E-Mail about the car and how to start. I just point them here and some know the NSX is not all that.

Jeff, I read that LOL! When one of them started talking about his RX7 vs. his NSX, I just laughed and didn't want to go there. How could a stock NSX with god knows what size MOMO wheels and Intrac springs could be compared... do they actually think MOMO wheels and lowering the car will make the car go faster or handle better??

And that Drifter guy,... over inflated causing cupping??? Thats something new that I've never heard of?? Does any of these guys know anything about cars?? OR owning an overly priced V6 accord just make you an expert in the automotive world. Because that must be it! Instead of actually thinking about the tires and my reasoning, they start coming up with unforseen scenaries that could never cause my tires to be like that... Only shows their ignorance in cars...

That was my favorite quote by that idiot. I read that and realized; 1. He's an 17 year old who's daddy has one and doesnt know a damn thing... nor his dad, 2. He's an idiot thinking just adding a turbo on that car is easy as us adding a single turbo.
Not only that, to truely go single on that overly priced accord, you would have to completely rebuild the engine... What was it,... 30+K?? Do they not know about 3 rotor engines that we could add and make double the horse power than what their 30+K built engine?? Which, at that point its not even a "Honda" engine they keep saying how reliable and what not.. I just didn't want to keep at it with these ****** over there....

Exactly!! Hence I started the thread.. But obviously when they come on and critizing me that I'm at fault, it just shows what kind of low lives are on that forum.
