Should I trade my RX-7 for an NSX?
Hey Guys
I was thinking about trading in my 1993 R-1 for a 95 NSX, what you guys think about it, Should I or should I not? My R-1 has 104xxx miles in it. When I first bought the the owner place a new engine, new turbo, new paint, adjustable tokico shocks, he pretty much changed everything under the hood. It took me 2yrs of research to find this car. Dont get me wrong, I love this car but I think is time for a change.

I think both cars are fantastic, if you're going for rarity and something that people don't see much, i think the NSX wins. Is this a car you plan on putting a lot of miles on? That's also something to think about.
I would. NSX=Honda reliability. You could drive that thing everyday for the rest of your life and be fine. Sure, theyre not powerhouses, but they make supercahrger and turbo kits for them. I think they rival FDs in the looks department, theyre a lot more rare, and they have a higher resale value. People arent afraid of buying an NSX.

But if you want my opionion. You cant go wrong with the NSX. I do believe the 95 had a 275 horse engine they didn't start making 290hp till 97. But you have to remember NSX's come with exotic car prices, the Clutch disk and pressure plate alone is 1500. So just bare that in mind when shopping around.

If you want a close to stock car and can afford the NSX, give it a shot.
If you want a highly modded high horsepower car that is capable of outperforming viper, vettes and ferraris, stick wit the FD RX-7.

^^^Yeah, if you want a good looking car that will impress the ladies but not in the speed department, to with the NSX. If you want a good looking car that will impress the ladies and make them *** on your passenger seat, go with the FD.
Trade my RX-7 for an NSX.
Hi guys.
I'm planning to trade my 1993 R1 for an 93-94 NSX, what you guys think? The NSX is mostly all stock other than the after market rims and tires. It has close to 98,000 miles. My RX-7 has about 104,000 miles on the chassis but it only has 6,000 miles on the new engine. The previous owner put a new motor, turbos, paint job, and adjustable tokico shocks. The car has not given me any problem at all except for the leaking oil pan. I love this car but I think it is time for me to move on to better things.
Let me know what you think. Thanks...

Go for the NSX if only for the variety. The interior is one of the nicest around and it's a true exotic. I don't think you'll take too big of a hit on depreciation. That's the thing with some exotic cars. If they don't depreciate, it's like driving them for free. I even made money on one in the 90's.
