Trade my RX-7 for an NSX.
my freidn ha sa white nsx and when he sat in my car he said my car felt more connected and musch more sports car like than his nsx. his is white with black ccw wheels and suspension and exhaust and i pulled buss lengths onhim everytime we race. i wouldn;t go with a nsx.
I would in a heart beat, but they are expensive as hell to mod. I believes its around 7k for a turbo setup, you also need to drop the entire motor to add headers. They are sexy as hell, these three cars really made me want to go buy an nsx.

My wife 1996 Acura Integra running perfectly at 140K miles when we sold it. Ten years of ownership we had zero break down, just 2 set of tires, 2 set of brakes, 2 batteries. Bone dry uncarriage
My dad 1997 TL has 73K miles and drive like new (we have it now). Wife loves it.
Actually the NSX was what my brother wants at first, but while in med residency $60K + was too much. He settled for a RX7...too bad 4 me if he went with NSX it would be in my garage now...
Tough choice between the 7 and the X.
i would do it. while the fd can be made faster easier imo the nsx just feels better driving. maybe i just like midengined cars more. but its a great car. plus the interior doesnt feel cheap at all. i've driven a 91 and it feels like a new car, no clunks, rattles or anything.
no you dont
you also need to drop the entire motor to add headers.

....and what can somebody say about FD's ? Reading this forum you could crack that FD's are for 19 year old boy racers who can now afford the car but can't afford to keep it running.
. . . .
The RX7 is my dream car so i wouldn't do it.
That being said. I've been in a NSX and i enjoyed the ride. They're exotic and rare. People seem to like the NSX body style more than the RX7. I don't think any here on the forum would say you're doing a bad thing for going to the NSX. Just going from one good thing to another.

There were about 7500 NSXs produced for America. http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/General/...ionnumbers.htm
and about 14000 FDs produced for America.

So I don't know where you guys are getting off calling the NSX rare while implying that the FD is common, because the production numbers are pretty close. And just because the NSX looks like a euro exotic doesn't make it more exotic than the FD.
I love the FD more than the NSX. The NSX is nice, but not nice enough for me to be a self loathing FD owner as *some* of us seem to be.
On that note, I would have to say I've seen just as many random NSXs driving around as I have random FDs. About 6 of each in the past 3 years.

Well the key point you left out here is the FD ran in the US for 3 years and the NSX ran in the US for 15 years. I dont know were you went to school but 7,500 is about half of 14,000 so I say the production numbers are not close. I may see a random NSX 2 or 3 times a summer. I see a random FD every weekend I even have seen FDs out in the winter now here.

I know that an NSX is not even in the same ball park as the FD performance wise. I would also like some variety, I can always buy another FD later down the line. IMO, the FD and the NSX are the 2 sexiest cars from the early 90's why not own both of them? This X is hot.

Lowering the numbers doesn't prove your point anymore. If I said there was only 1 NSX and 2 FDs...we obviously wouldnt call one rare and two common.

Hey everybody. I think I'm going with the Formula Red. I think the red color is the best color there is IMO. Also I like mesh BBS rims on it too. I think I'll make my NSX simple as possible. I woundn't change nothing to it, Just some rims, lowering springs, shocks. The car itself looks beautiful already...I've made up my mind. I'll go ahead and get the NSX and I'll keep my FD RX-7 as well too. So I can I have best of both world. Thanks for everybodys input. As soon as I get the NSX, I'll posts up some pics along with my FD next to it...Thanks again everybody....
