For those with M2 Intercoolers...

What intake do you have? I bought M2 but doesn't look like it will fit with My Apexi dual cone intake...

Does anyone have this setup?

Also for those with this IC, what radiator do you have?

Thanks, all advice welcome!

I have just installed a Fluidyne, with aluminum AST. My intercooler is the medium that says you don't need to relocate battery however, doesn't look like its going to fit between battery and my apexi intake.

I learned this the hard way over the holiday weekend. What you need is 51 series battery tray in order to get it to work properly. I wish i was better informed before wasting part of my weekend figuring this out on my own. Oh well you live and learn.

do you have the apexi intake as well? Just curious....

I figure i may need to get a pipe fabbed up to replace pipe on left if the intake intrudes....

Nah i have a M2 cold air intake box (aluminum not the carbon fiber). The smaller battery tray will free up the room under the hood your looking for with out everything looking cluttered.

Didn't you get the ASP large from that forgettable GB? Or do you have the medium and were still having fitment issues?

Kento yes it was the ASP medium from the GB. I had everything installed and ready to tighten the hose couplers and realised that i couldnt move the IC over to the D/S anymore cause i was up against the battery tray "J" holder on the stock tray.

Crikey, it's a good thing I've been too damn busy to install the IC yet, then. Also a good thing that I happened to buy one of Jeff's 51R battery trays in a GB a while back...

Sorry you had to spend the weekend fiddling with that stuff. I know exactly how you feel, after struggling with other supposed "drop in" components that were anything but...

I have asp large, I have hard pipes with K&Ns, and a Koyo rad. It works out good but as with alot of things on this car it has to be installed just right. I also relocated the batt. to behind the passenger seat.
