Found this funky ic on yahoo.jp, thought id bring it up, what do you guys think?
modify 2 stock intercoolers...

You'd also need to build a custom shroud so the hood scoop is sealed against it. Otherwise, that extended section will never get any air flow.

Yeah, don't think I'd use it. Looks interesting though. I suppose if it was WWII and there was an aluminum shortage, yeah reuse what you have... otherwise, probably not worth the effort considering the cost of the average intercooler these days.

I've seen extended ones mounted up front, FMIC style, someone from Australia bought a car from JP that had this, IIRC.
