not saying that a fmic is better than the v-mount but i know my skills in Fabrication arent very good so that kinda scared me so i just went with what i could do alone.. but is a v-mount more efficient all around??

Cheers man yer it is my car did it when i was getting the motor rebuilt as i was after something a little more than the top mount, it was based on the Greedy kit but i made some mods to the front in order to keep the lights so it looked orginal as, only had to buy a couple of extra 45's and joiners to do it so the cost wasnt high, if you do end up wanting to do something similar let me know i took pics when i was doing it as i thought it may come in handy if someone wanted to do it as well, not sure if its worth a write up at this stage but yer, heres another pic to give you an idea on what it looks like behind the bumber.

I plan on doing a vmount with mine. I simply think the stock S5 bumper beats just about any aftermarket bumper. However, the openings are kind of small. Cutting the bumper more than what looks natural isn't an option for me so with a vmount, I'll be able to duct air to cover the whole surface of the IC and Rad.
