Steering wheel

im thinking about upgrading my steering wheel.. would i be better off getting a stock 99 spec steering wheel or an after market one like a sparco or something

personal choice really.
go with 99spec if you want to keep your cruise control.

I personally have a nardi wheel.

to keep your cruise control just make a bracket for it. I'd go aftermarket, and a quick release.

I have a 99 spec for sale. You get to keep the airbag, so that is a huge bonus IMHO.

its not going to be overly noticable, but it will shave weight off the car. with street driving though, the airbag is a must

Even the '99 style Mazda steering wheel is a lot lighter than the school bus wheel that comes stock on the FD.
