Ok my question is, are Miata seats a direct bolt on for an FD? If not can I just remove the Miata seat rail and install my stock FD seat rails on the Miata seats, will they just bolt up or is there some modification that has to happen for them to work?

 

I dont think anyone has done this.. I dont see why youd want to.

 

Like any other seat, you'll need to find the measurements of the seats to see if they will work. Due to how the transmission tunnel runs through the cockpit of the FD, very few seats are a "direct bolt-in".
