I'm seeing a lot of posts with people discussing aftermarket wheels, hubs, spacers and quick-releases, but not much on just extending the stock steering wheel out a bit more towards the driver. To be clear, I'd like to buy one of the Nardi or Momo wheels (with airbags, important) that came standard on various models, but also want to move it closer to me. Is there a simple way to do this? Or will it require some custom fab work to adapt a hub? Anyone done this?

I know there are some aftermarket wheels with airbags, how about mounting and wiring those?
