first thing is that car is a 3 rotor and was very well known on this forum. Next all you have to do to make your car flame is run straight pipe and a flow throught cat back (IE: apex, hks) when you let of the gas it will flame.

Those are some serious flames. I hope nobody stands behind that thing when it gets tuned.

Notice how it is only on decel.
I beleave you can program your fuel manegment to run extremly rich on decel.

I really dont think you see very many cars spitting flames while they are accelerating. When you let off the gas you tend pretty rich and alot of raw fuel.

turn fuel deceration off, retard timing, up the gas, and make sure the exhaust is hot.

Wrong...mine was shooting flames and I have a Racing Beat dual tip and hi flow cat. Granted one of my ignition coils was dying and the car started running super rich so that the exhuast fumes would make your eyes water from several feet behind the car...

Yeah when Mako said "no" about those exhaust components I think he meant no they're not the cause, not no it couldn't happen with those parts. No tip has anything to do with shooting flames...it richness obviously.....unburned fuel hitting the heat of an exhaust system..pretty simple recipe...mine has done that just while turning over, when my coolant maps were set too rich for cold starts...but I don't think I've shot flames while driving..although maybe I wouldn't know lol....

COOL CLIP!!!

Yea thats bascially what i was saying, i just didnt feel like typing more than 2 letters at the time. Anways sure you can get mad tYtE flames(with a cat) if you run your car waayyyy rich so that unburned fuel is getting through, but thats not something you really wanna do anyways. If tuned properly you shouldnt have that much excess fuel getting through into the exhaust, but better too rich than too lean as i always say
