i think i need a new alterntor. the on board computer say there are about 17 volts of chargeing going to battrey and battery is building pressure. the battery hase been relocted behind the passnger seat. and it is a optima. so do i need a new alterntor.

 

Have a shop put in a new regulator . You should see 14 -14.5 volts
