Spark plug wires order

For the two middle wires, does it matter which one goes to which bottom plug? I have mine in reverse order and drove it around the block it seemed fine.

Also on a side note after I replaced my plugs and started the car up a day later I had barely any smoke. Before, there would be gobs of smoke for like 5 minutes now it smokes a little for 30 sec's. Thats one problem fixed.

It does not matter which order the two middle wires are in. They are the leading plug wires which come from a dual post coil,(They both fire the same in a wastespark configuration).

I beleive the two strait booted ones should be in the middle. The angled boot won't rub your oil filter.

K thanks exactly what I wanted to hear. For wires I just went with a set of NGK's straight of their website. Like $23, they work.

The boots look like Taylor's (maybe spiro pro's).

that photo is not his car, they are Taylor wires from someone else's how-to page.

Too bad I didn't have that years ago when I first bought my car. The stupid dealer charged me at least an hour and still mixed up leading/trailing plugs. It is kinda funny that the after photo above shows the wires on the wrong coils when it's a how to write up. Notice the correct placement of the OEM wires from the same site below...

That job took me over an hour to do. Removing the throttle body takes some time if you haven't done it before. I believe the saying goes, "If you want something done right..."
