Sob :(
I just realized that I've had my FD for a year now and it has spent more time in my garage broken (like it is now with a blown motor...stupid overboost) than on the street. Where is the best palce to get a entire gasket set for an engine rebuild?

I feel you
But I'm on a good path right now things are working out
the car is going to be absolutely perfect in a couple weeks.
Keep working at it and leave the important stuff for a rotary shop. If you aren't sure about something make sure before you move forward. Don't go cheap on anything either. You will blow your motor over and over again if it isn't running perfect.
You mentioned overboost. Cam the owner of pettit racing tells me no more than 12 psi on the street unless you have race fuel and the car is tuned for it. Given this warning I would stay on 10 or 11 even if you have an upgraded computer and fuel system. I'd take his advise seriously.
Good luck stay with it because rx-7s are worth it all

Sometimes when the engine blows, you can demage the rotors and score the housings. In this case, the cheapest route would likely be a remanufactured engine.

I feel your pain. I blew two motors in two years. It was one of the most frustrating periods of my life. It's still a project in work. Snook is right. Lower boost is better. I'm running mine in 10 right now, until I get an intercooler. Yes, it feels slow to me, but the car is very happy running at this level. And he is EXTREMELY right about not going cheap. That is what got me into the cycle of constantly fixing everything. Spend your money wisely. You absolutely get what you pay for with this car.
I agree with Jonski. I would spend more money, and get a reman. You make up the money you spend with the peace of mind that you have a good product, and more importantly, a warranty. My reman pulls 19 inches of vacuum at idle(for over a year now). It is rock solid.
Good luck. Don't despair. Just put your head down and move forward and conquer. If you let it, the car will drive you crazy. It is almost like a real life Steven King's Christine. Take care of it, and it will take care of you.

Yah, I've got a guy in arlington rebuilding it for me w/ 3mm seals and a street port. All new gaskets and some oil mods for a little over $2000. His name is Curtis. But I have definetly learned that you spend the money now or pay for it later. So i'm getting Profec B and a complete fuel system with probably an Apexi intercooler. The only thing about the intercooler is that i have to pay RP $500 to install it.
