Smoking problem.. any causes?

Hey guys..

Started taking my car out this year and i have a smoking problem...

No smoke on startup.. none when warming up.. When the car is warm and at idle a light blue smoke comes out.. not billowing but just poofing out.

Smoke does not come out on acceleration or deceleration, just when im completely stopped and its at idle... mainly when the fans come on and push the smoke out of the exhaust...

My car has all bolt-ons and stock motor and turbos.. 70K miles

Any ideas?

E.J.

You mean the smoke is in the engine bay? Could be any number of things. You need to find out exactly where the smoke is coming from.

It might be that its only noticeable at idle. Did you recently change types of oil?

No i didnt change oil types... i cant tell where the oil leak is coming from but i have one.. small puddle under the middle of engine bay... vacuum is steady 15... motor seems fine.. but i do only notice the blue smoke at idle..

say im at a light and i let it sit for a couple seconds it will smoke blue.. puffing out..

but if i sit at a light and keep my rpms up at 1500 or so there is no smoke.
