its called a vaccum line, and i dont think so, isnt that the line for auto fd;s?

Hey, call me a dumbass, but what is the yellow canister thing in the picture? is that a check valve? I have only owned my car for 1 month and its my first turbo, so be nice, I'm learning.

Yes, it's a check valve. It used to be green.

ok, so assuming mine is in two pieces...this is bad, no? I took off the UIM and there was one that was hanging in two pieces with dried epoxy all over both ends. The previous owner was an idiot and apparently tried to fix it and it obviously didn't hold. Where do I get the replacement and what are their function? Thank you.
