Rx7 store resonated midpipe quieter than stock cat?

Is the Rx7 resonated midpipe quieter than the stock cat? I'm running the older tanabe touring medallion cat back with the stock cat. and how would you compare the racing beat single or dual tip with the tanabe touring medallion? Thank you for all your inputs

I'm not sure how to compare it without having an authentic DB reading but in my humble opinion FD's with the RX7 store resonated midpipe sound fantastic.

For the first six months of ownership haha. I think I purchased my resonated midpipe last year sometime and it's basically shot already. The packing doesn't last very long with the heat our engines produce.

But yes stock is definitely quieter.

Hey he didn't say anything about longevity! Hahaha!

You could always try a Bonez High Flow Cat as well...definitely not quieter than stock but the better half commented she didn't know when I had entered the neighborhood anymore. Haha.

i have the tanabe, haven't heard the racing beat yet but heard its closest you can get to stock. Tanabe has a really good sound IMO and purrs really nice at idle without sounding "ricey" (good deep sound but screams at wot). but it does drone...oh god the drone....

I also have the tanabe but don't understand how its around 93db. It drones like no other and was thinking about the racing beat but I don't wanna switch unless there's a good difference
