The amount of mileage you will get out of a forced induction rotary is inversely proportional to the amount of rwhp you are pushing.

That said, don't overheat it. Use 93 octane. Warm her up, cool her down. don't overboost. check your oil with every gas fillup. change the oil every 2k miles.

There's more, but do all that, and you'll have a car that (lightly modified) will smoke almost all V8s out there.....

I agree with Goodfella. I can't help you on the insurance prices though. A good price to pay for insurance is different for everyone. How old are you? What's your driving record look like? Will you need a loan to get the car? Are you in the military? Married? On parents insurance? Have defensive driving school? You get the idea.

With that being said, any maintinance that needs to be done on the car is worth it.

FD's are a pain in the ***, but worth every bit of it IF you are gonna use the car's unique abilities. if all you wanna do is look cool cruisin around the street and occasionally dust someone on the highway, its probably not worth it. Get a Supra.

All of the exotic lightweight construction, suspension design and so forth is a waste unless you are gonna carve up curvy mountain roads, autocross, or do track events IMHO. I still can't figure out why folks buy these things to drag race with.

As far as insurance: I'm a 33 year old guy that has had a clean record for 5 years and mine is STILL $140 per month.

It's a love/hate relationship.

I'm 21, single and a non-student. $210 a month.

As for insurance, it varies on the person, area, car, etc...

Your best bet is to call various insurance companies and ask for quotes. Quotes are free.
