looking for a good mechanic in the Boston area:
Hey everyone I'm looking to find a reliable mechanic capable of doing the clutch on my 93 rx-7 and tuning my power fc standalone ecu. (W/o) controller. Can anyone give me some pointers?
Not Primespeed in Danvers though, everytime.i bring my car to them I cough up hundreds of dollars and after a week of driving im always back there w the same problems and getting charged again for the work I just had done the last time.
Thanks in advance!
Bert

Hey Bert.
Bring your car to Steve from SMG racing in Warick RI. He specializes in rotaries. He's about 45 mins from Boston, but well worth it. I had my car rebuilt, single turboed and power FC tuned by Steve. My car runs like a champ.
By the way, i had in FD rebuilt by Primespeed years ago. Those guys are not bad but prices were outrageous!

Nope, we sub-contract tuning out. (Adaptronics offer remote tuning even though we prefer having it tuned on the dyno, but the remote tunes havent been bad) But we do everything else.
