RC Engineering 1300s - Good or bad?

I've got a set of new RC Engineering 1300s (Bored out 850s) that I was planning to use in my current build.

After talking to a local shop, I'm a bit put off as apparently they've had engines blow due to these injectors failing under certain conditions.

Who's running them successfully? Anyone had issues like the above?

Cheers

I have experience with these. I tried running a set on my own build and they were garbage. Kept having to readjust the tune every other day.

Second experience was trying to tune with them (not the same set I used, a fresh set from RC) on a friend's car. Same problem.

I've talked to some people that have had a great experience with them, but I feel like I've heard more examples of people having problems with them and then ditching them for something else.

I believe if u have low mileage crappy 850 to begin yes u will have issues, I have new 850 bore out by the same company and ran it for 10 yrs with no issues and I made 390Rwhp with my old setup.

All cars I have tuned with them, including my own ran great. Great for mild to medium streetports on stock twins. However, if your thinking about going single ever in your life, just spend the money now and go top-feed. Leave the primaries stock.

Has anyone tried the 900cc-1300cc ( NEW ) Mazda Factory Higher Flowing Nipondenso Injectors from SR Motorsports?

I run a "old school" set of RC 1300's where they didn't actually bore them out and instead increased how far the plunger travels inside the injector. The good and bad thing about these injectors is that they tend to flow even more over time. I had mine sent out to Witch Hunter last year and they flowed perfectly but put out 1620cc's. I have had no problems and my car has been very reliable, only thing is that I have to re-tune the car a little bit after running for a while. I don't mind as I'm usually always playing with the map anyway

I've never had any problems and I've never seen anyone else personally have problems with these injectors.

Mine are a brand new pair of 850s that have been bored out...I'm only going to be running 12psi on '99 twins, so not asking too much of them.

Cheers for the feedback guys

The people who have issues with these injectors are possibly running stock wiring to their fuel pumps >_>. That is the only time I've had issues with them.
