Most sound clips are recorded with low bandwidth mics that don't capture the low frequencies (or your computer speakers can't play them back either), so I wouldn't really trust sound clips too much.

I can honestly say that, unless you want a really loud exhaust, you will like the Racing Beat. It has a mellow, low tone until the secondary turbo kicks in when it turns into a turbine-like howl. It is quiet at cruise and idle with no droning. It does resonate ("boom") when letting off the throttle at 2.5-3.5k rpm, which you will come to love....

Other than the sound, the exhaust is extremely well made, looks great, and fits perfect. Highly recommended.

Scroll down in the middle of the thread below posted by silver0ckt. He has a couple of sound clip of the rb dual on his car. But like rynberg said, it's not the best microphone used to record exhaust tones.

I also have the rb dual on my car, with a borla xr-1 for a mid section. A lot of people think it's pretty stock unless I floor it. Deep bass sounding, not too loud. You'll like it!!!

I have the older RB dual tip, honestly the best sounding exhaust I've heard on a FD. Deep and melow.

I don't have a sound clip for you, you'll just have to trust me when I say BUY THE RB! It's quieter when it needs to be, during normal driving. Add some throttle and this thing comes alive in a great way. You look stock on the street because everybody looks for the big fartcan exhaust(ugly+loud). A loud exhaust will get old, really old. Don't learn your lesson the hard way...buy the RB.

Buy the racing beat quality, quality ,quality, and a first rate company. They do answer the phone and back you up 110% amazing that you can buy this mandrel bent ,thick *** flanges and put it on yourself and the fit is perfect. did i say amazing .... I did my second gen with these guy first and was blown away with the quality. Then i did my third gen with the RB dual and again the same RB quality. Exaust is #1 with a rotor don't cut corners. this is where you want to spend your $$$$$

It sounds great! Not too obnoxious but throaty at idle. Let's them feel the impending furyabout to be unleased up high...Looks great too.
