Hmmmmm I know the FC canadian versions were different from the US were they not ? I would think it would also apply to the FD ? I could definitly be wrong lol just sharing
I think as long as you swap everything like the wiring harness and ecu then you wouldn't have a problem. It may read in Kilometers though.
Or you could just swap your manifold and everything onto that short block and I'm sure you would be fine. I don't think any actuall bolt locations would be different at all, just emissions and what not.

All the motors are the same throughout the FD's from 93-95. It will bolt right in. I think all the motors from the FD for those years were produced in Japan. I could be wrong about that fact. But, the bottom line is that they are the same.
Unless the Canadian car is right hand drive, in which case, the motors are the except for the downpipe. It is just a different shape because of the steering system.
