pros and cons, RX7 vs 300ZX and MKIV...
alright, so i now need a second car... these are three cars that i have been in love with, the RX7 and MKIV pretty much since '93 i have fallen in love with both...
i've heard and read the horror stories regarding the rex, but lets face it, one of the finest machines brought over from japan... plus the price is so much more affordable than the MKIV... theres a couple around town that needs engine work, in particular a '93...
which brings me to my next question, someone a long time ago stated to me to NOT buy a '93 rex and go for a 94 and up, but i don't remember the reason...
basically, i want to get a feel from you guys, how much sincerity is there to the "horror" stories, and is this a car that you could recommend as a daily driver??? it's basically coming down toe a cointoss, i would much rather save the money for mods with the rex, than the supra, but reliablilty is an issue here... and the only reason the 300zx is on that list is that the TT's are so damn plentiful and cheap around here...

Every first year production car has issues that are worked out in the second production year. It is also true that numerous recalls often fix the problems with the first production year.

Another thread with people talking about the same cars:

This is an RX-7 board, who's not going to say the 7 isn't better?
Check this thread:

Do some research on your own. That way you can make your own informed decision as to what car is better for you.
