Sorry my spanish is very poor so I will make my english clear.

The purge control in my experience does not cause driveability problems. However I would replace it.

Boost at 12 to 13psi on a stock ECU will cause a "fuel cut". It happens like your symptoms. I recommend you install a boost controller and set boost at 10psi limit.

If you are on the stock ECU, then there will be fuel cut:

I read and speak Spanish reasonably well but can't write it to save my life so...

I think admision = intake.

The cut you are feeling is probably fuel cut as the others have said from too much boost. You really want to try and keep boost to 10 PSI on the stock ECU or you risk blowing your motor.

There are many people here that don't understand these cars either.

If you can find a friend that reads English, spend some time on this site:
http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-...erOverview.htm
There is a lot of really good info on that site about troubleshooting turbo problems.

A quick easy work around the problem is better control boost. You can do that with a boost controller.

Cut happens with a stock ECU starting at 12psi. There is a short delay before the cut activates, so maybe you see 13 with the delay.

There are two possibilities for the difference:
- your ex-fd might have had an inaccurate boost gauge. Mine is off by about 1.5psi
- your ex-fd might have had an upgraded ECU. 13 and even 14 psi is possible if the ECU allows it.

Install it on the wastegate. The wastegate controls boost level at 4500rpm+.

The precontrol controls boost level below 4500rpm.

However the AVC-R can be set up to control both at once:
http://www.fd3s.net/avc-r_install.html

If you wish to save money you can install manual boost controllers. They are a little bit slower to tune, but they are very simple and reliable.
