Size of Front Wheel Bearing Hub Nut?

Is the hub nut for the front wheel bearing on an FD 35 mm or 36 mm? And if I buy a "deep impact socket" with 3/4" drive, will it fit a standard 3/4" drive breaker bar wrench, or is there something different about impact sockets?... I can't find a "non-impact," regular 3/4" drive socket in those sizes.

Can I use a 3/4" drive, 1-3/8" SAE deep socket? That is 1.375", and 35 mm = 1.378"

Thanks!

I bought a 36mm impact socket and it fits with play...it opens it..but it does a have a little play suggesting it may be a bit big...make 34 or 35

Thanks for the info, BluRR. I have to buy a deep socket, and they run around $30, so I'd like to get the right size. Rutland Tool here in Huntington Beach carries both 35 mm and 36 mm and also 1-3/8", so I'd like to pick the right one. I could knock off the hub cap and measure, I guess, but would rather not start the job without all the parts and tools on hand.

Ray Crowe e-mailed me that the hub nut takes a 35 mm socket.
