premix ration w/o MOP?

premix ration w/o MOP?
Did a search, no satisfactory results. For those who premix without a metering oil pump, what ratio are you using?50:1, 100:1???

With NO omp I run 100:1 which is close to 1oz per gallon....which is what I have been running. For a while I was only running 1/2oz per gallon but I decided to get closer to the 100:1 because of teh way I drive my car (hard). I feel like running extra premix is better than not enough.

Check out the top of this site.

50:1 is crazy; that's what most 2-cycle engines run. 100:1 also sounds too rich to me, unless you aren't running an OMP.

A while back Rob at http://www.pineappleracing.com told me to use 200:1. He noted that too much lowers the gas' octane rating.

iirc it should be around 80:1 or 1qt/20 gallons
the FD OMP varies from 200:1 at low load to 50:1 at wot&max Boost iirc

It can also raise the density of the fuel mixture going through the injectors (the oil is displacing fuel), effectively leaning out your a/f ratios, if you use too much.
