what kind of oil are you using to premix with e85

Any decent ashless 2-cycle oil....it makes no difference if it's E85. I think the generally accepted ratio is 1:128....or 1 oz. to 1 gallon.

I was under the impression that it's .5 oz to a gallon

my buddy runs golden spectro 2 stroke oil in his....I always laugh when I see him do it.

We found that Maxima Castor 927 is the only one that does not separate over time in e85.

You need to make sure you use an oil that is compatible with ethanol. The actual ratio has yet to be determined, since E85 has only been available a short time, and people are still experimenting. I would err on the high side to save yourself an engine rebuild.

Do NOT use Idemitsu pre-mix with E85 - it does not mix with it.

We use the Maxima Castor 927.

I premix with KLOTZ ,im not running E85 but they have one compatable with E85.
