A-Pillar Gauge Mounting, How to Attach

When using an A-pillar gauge setup, the full pillar ones -- how have you successfully
mounted these? They don't have the clips that the factory pillar has.

If screws, where did you drill into the frame?

If some type of tape, how and where did you attach it.

Thanks

By "full pillar ones" I'm guessing your referring to pods for 2 or more guages?

OK. I mounted my single pod w/o any drilling or adhesive, but I'm sure it wouldn't work for the others.

autometer sells a pod that is a molded a pillar, not just an add on to the stock a pillar. you can see them at summit.

you can try double sided tape but get 3m and make sure its the one with the red film. heat it up a bit with a blow dryer or similar and slap it on. i've sucessfully used this tape to mount my tail light cover and it stayed with speeds of about 120. pretty good stuff

Are you talking about the autometer 22675 full-pillar triple gauge pod? That IS NOT a replacement, it goes OVER your stock A-pillar. I've heard of people using adhesive or tape with good results. Mine should be coming next week and I'll let you know how I mount mine.

I just ran a bead of silicone on the edges. I also tucked the left side under the weather stripping. Mine has never moved.

+1 for the 3M double-sided tape.
