The rx7store T-brace is the kgparts brace. It works *very* well, that would be my first choice.

Now that I'm running a 4 inch exhaust, for fitment I had to switch to the banzai brace. Seems to do the job, but the drivetrain doesnt feel as firmly mounted as it did with the T brace.

When I designed the brace I had no idea it would be the topic of so many debates every week, here is the other thread that is goiing on right now:

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/member-braces-717536/

here is another one from a few weeks ago

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/kg-diff-brace-banzai-710496/

Rich, it is funny in all the other threads there are also people that switched from the T to ours and they all say the exact opposite of you.

i have the KGparts brace. i still get wheel hop though and a little bit of vibrations from it. it helps a little, but i think i have to replace the other bushings in the rear too.

I would assume Ramy (FDNewbie) or RHD Japan would be able to get you it....but you'll be fine with the KG parts T-bar...its great!

just out of curiosity, did you design this brace first or did dragon design this brace first? I had mine for more than 3 years now, and it looks the same as your brace?

I've actually posted up a positive experience on your brace in the fs thread (the disappearing one, lol) and just read through both linked threads you provided.

Looking back, it's tough to say.....many years ago, I went from no brace to the T brace, and noticed a huge difference in drivetrain stiffness (it was a total bitch to install btw), which was to be expected. I then went from the T brace to your Banzai brace, but I also changed my whole setup (more power etc) at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with your brace, I need to get more seat time with it to be able to make an honest assessment. I stated that the drivetrain doesnt feel as firmly mounted, but that could be the difference in feel between going from no brace to a brace, then going from a brace to a different brace

Brace is not the cure for wheel hop... https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/blew-up-stock-rear-end-today-%2Apics%2A-713661/
For drag racing give the PFS girdle or something similar a shot, also the T2 or KAAZ LSD is definitely a must in my book now.

PS - I also like the looks of the Banzai style brace over the KG ...if you're going that route(for auto-x/road course/ect).
